Why Choose 60x120 New Marquina Black by UrTiles?

Design Trend: Modern Dark Luxury with 60x120 cm New Marquina Black Porcelain Tiles
In an era where high-end clients and architects seek unparalleled distinction, the “Modern Dark Luxury” design trend has emerged as a top choice. It elevates ordinary spaces into architectural masterpieces through its mysterious, powerful, and understated elegance.

At the heart of creating this aesthetic is the 60x120 cm New Marquina Black H.G. (Polished) Large-Format Porcelain Tile by UrTiles. Featuring a rich, deep black marble base contrasted with crisp, multidimensional natural white veins, its high-gloss finish reflects light with sophisticated grace.

Here is how you can apply these large-format porcelain slabs for both floor and wall applications across various key interior spaces:

1. Grand Living Room & Entrance Lobby
Application: Continuous floor tiling and accent feature walls (e.g., TV background walls).

Design Concept: Using the 60x120 cm format minimizes grout lines, giving floors a seamless, vast, and airy appearance. When illuminated by luxury chandeliers or ambient warm-white LED lights, the high-gloss polished finish (H.G.) reflects rich depth, creating an unforgettable first impression for every visitor.

2. Luxury Dark Kitchen & Bar Area
Application: Flooring, backsplashes, and island countertop cladding.
Design Concept: Pairing black marble tiles with dark wooden paneling and built-in cabinetry creates a sleek, modern kitchen vibe. Beyond aesthetics, porcelain tiles offer exceptional heat resistance, low water absorption, and effortless cleaning against oil stains—making them the perfect choice for high-end kitchens.

3. Master Suite Bedroom
Application: Bedhead feature accent walls and bedroom flooring.
Design Concept: Soften the dramatic black aesthetic by pairing it with plush area rugs, beige or ivory upholstered furniture, and indirect warm backlighting behind the bed. This creates a perfect balance between luxury and comfort, transforming the master bedroom into a private, peaceful sanctuary.

4. Master Bathroom Spa
Application: Floor-to-ceiling wall tiling and wet/dry zone flooring.
Design Concept: Installing New Marquina Black tiles from floor to ceiling alongside sleek white sanitaryware and brushed gold fixtures converts a standard bathroom into a 6-star private spa experience.
